Carnaval Camp

Carpina church and many of those involved in Athletes in Action had a Carnaval camp at a retreat center. It was a time of spiritual refreshment and renewal, and even a couple of baptisms!

Fan Zones

Athletes in Action have been working faithfully to set up Fan Zones all over Brazil, offering a place to watch the game, and to hear about Jesus.

Mothers getting Involved

We are excited to see some of the mothers coming and being more involved with the sports ministry. For Mother's day, Glory Sports had a special meeting with the kids and their moms.

Special decorations, and of course, food, were provided (special thanks to Dilma and Susan!)

Athletes in Action, headed up by Rogerio Soares, and Glory Sports, headed up by Carlos Henrique, are doing a fantastic job in Brazil. During the summer break (January), they were busy with IMPACTs all over Northeast Brazil

They spent time training and raising up teams of workers to go out to Lagoa, Carpina, and Sta. Cruz, and encouraging them to then take that into their own communities.

They teamed up with the Community churches to truly make an IMPACT

The core team from Carpina also has been involved with community projects and making a difference, such as re-roofing someone's house.

It is amazing to see the results in these communities, and also in these young men and women who are becoming servants and leaders and in turn, teaching others to know Christ.
